p0ppy’s p0nderings… ∞

Well, we have a few new additions to our family! I can not tell you how much Cricket is loving our new pets! She actually seems more interested in what they are eating than in the mice. They (the mice) don’t even seem to notice that she is there. She whines every time one of them is eating. It’s funny and kinda sad. This is also the dog who began eating frozen peas because she saw us feeding them to Fink (my first rat) a few years back.

We have added 3 new little girl mice to our home, Brownie, Badger and Grace. They are very sweet and we are learning about their personalities! They are all very sweet and are slowly warming up to us. So far it appears that Grace (the slightly clumsy one) has finally learned how to use the wheel. Badger (named for her unique markings) is quite the runner on a wheel but we don’t think she’s learned to drink from the water bottle yet so I’m leaving a small dish of water out for now under the bottle. Hopefully she’ll watch the others and learn something. Brownie is very sweet. She seems the most adventurous of the bunch and also the best / pickiest eater. She enjoys digging through the food dish, tossing food everywhere, and finding her favorite pieces. Ya gotta love a girl who knows what she wants!
