Well I’ll teach em! Just because my hands take a bit of abuse at work does not mean that career option is obsolete!

Here is my latest invention, an adapted utensil. Made with simply a hair tie! Which I might add is being modeled by no other than, ME! Ok, so I’m not a professional hand model yet but it’s a start!

The purpose was to create a simple accommodation for one of my students with fine motor challenges. This tool will hopefully allow him to be more stable while eating thus creating more independence!

I have yet to try this with my student but I’ll post updates!

And shame on you who thought, that just because of some minor job hazards, I could not make it as a hand model. I’m not throwing the towel in yet!
